Long Term Futures is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a Primary school in Coventry. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals with a strong background in Key Stage 2 (KS2) support, particularly in preparing pupils for SATs. As a HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in helping pupils achieve their potential by delivering targeted interventions and providing vital support during their SATs preparation and assessments. The school is seeking a full-time candidate to start immediately, with the potential for the role to develop from long-term to a permanent position for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead one-to-one and small group interventions aimed at enhancing pupils' performance in literacy and numeracy in preparation for SATs.
• Support and guide KS2 pupils through SATs-related challenges, ensuring they feel confident and prepared.
• Deliver engaging activities to reinforce learning, aligned with SATs curriculum goals.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to inform planning.
• Provide whole-class support when required, including leading sessions during PPA time.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 1+ year experience working in a Primary school
• A Level 4 HLTA qualification (preferred but not essential, those with QTS qualifications are encouraged to apply)
• An understanding of working with SEN pupils
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
