Higher Level Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor

• Daily Rate: £95 - £105
• Location: Doncaster
• Job Type: Part-time & Full-time

We are seeking dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) / Cover Supervisors to join various primary schools across Doncaster. This role involves covering pre-planned lessons during teacher absences and PPA time. It offers a great opportunity for flexible work, with both part-time and full-time positions available, starting immediately and in January.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various primary school classes to cover teacher absences and PPA time.
• Engage students and facilitate learning using the provided lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a constructive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of different groups of pupils.
• Provide feedback on student progress and classroom sessions to the regular teaching staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold HLTA accreditation.
• Proven experience in delivering classes as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Previous training in a phonics scheme is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.
• A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
