Hilux Frame Wax Campaign Specialist (Toyota GB)

  • £43,500 per annum
  • 3-Year Fixed-Term Contract
  • Field-Based - UK South preferred but not essential
  • Start date: April/May 2025

TLP have been working with Toyota (GB) PLC for over 25 years and are a trusted partner. This role will be employed by TLP (secondment to Toyota (GB) PLC)

Role Overview

As the Hilux Frame Wax Campaign Specialist, you will oversee the HF24 Hilux Frame Inspection Campaign, ensuring the effective and high-quality application of frame waxing across the UK.

You will be the technical and quality lead for the programme, working closely with dealerships, waxing centres, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations, stock availability, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee vehicle flow across ~35 waxing locations, ensuring efficient processing.
  • Coordinate with dealerships and wax centres on vehicle logistics & parts supply.
  • Manage waxing centre network, opening or closing locations as required.
  • Investigate quality concerns and ensure best-in-class customer experience.
  • Monitor and manage wax stock levels to avoid supply issues.
  • Conduct quality audits or liaise with the audit team to maintain standards.
  • Attend operational meetings, providing feedback and driving process improvements.
  • Support customer relations, helping resolve dealer and customer queries.
  • Collaborate with Toyota GB teams (Quality, Repair Support, TMUK Coordinator) to optimise the process.
  • Auditing - ensuring the centres are adhering to the quality and technical documents to maintain high level workmanship

Requirements

  • Ideally Automotive industry experience (technical, quality, or repair-related) but not essential.
  • Knowledge of vehicle bodywork, corrosion protection, or paint processes but not essential.
  • Experience working with dealership networks, warranty claims, or service operations would be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work with suppliers effectively is highly essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a process improvement mindset (Kaizen experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with dealerships, suppliers, and customers.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK is essential (field-based role).
  • Previous Project Manager experience

Salary : 40000 - 43500
