- First point of contact for customer enquiries
- Setting up new customer accounts and credit checking
- Responsible for receiving orders and collections of equipment.
- Calculating and supply of quotes
- Negotiating with customers on hire rates and non-standard product prices
- Planning transport for deliveries and collections
- Dealing with off hires and collection notes
- To proactively work jointly with all departments
- Assisting with yard procedures
- Dealing with damages, calculating costs, liaising with customers regarding damages and ensuring payment is received
- Full training on product range will be given
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience working within the construction/ material supplies or hire industry
- Strong customer service skills and experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ideally you need to have your own transport for travel to the depot location
