Hire Depot Manager - Mount Machinery : Job Details

Managing all operational functions across the Hire Business including Workshop, Goods in and out, Transport - own fleet and 3rd party, Logistics, Repairs, Health Safety and Compliance. The role will include help to inpliment the stratagy set out and delivery operational excellence through commitment to continous improvement, fulfilling customer promises and findind ways to WOW customers.Some Core responsabilites would includeDay to day supervision and coordinating of the workshop and delivery team

Developing and managing our own transport fleet including the sameday delivery offering

Managing cost centres and keeping within budget; Warehouse, Production, Transport

Ensuring the operations department meets the our service pledge and WOWs customers

Maximising warehouse efficiency both space and personnel

Maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, professionalism, safety and compliance

Health and Safety

Fleet management

All vehicle, plant and machinery checks and compliance

Assisting in and planning for any warehouse relocations or new depot set ups

Waste management and environmental controls
