The School A small alternative provision in Gloucester, catering for Key Stage 3 students. The school provides education for students who are at risk of permanent exclusion. Small classes allow for targeted teaching that meets individual needs. The Role A full-time role, providing general classroom support and leading maths interventions. You will need to have strong behaviour management skills and a good understanding of how to support students' mental health needs. Main responsibilities

• Work under the guidance of the manager
• Support students during lessons
• Lead some Maths lessons when requested
• Lead Maths interventions

Essential Criteria/Skills

• HLTA qualification
• Very good level of spoken and written English
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Strong Maths skills

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience working with Key Stage 3 pupils
• Previous experience teaching Maths lessons
