A 2 form entry Primary School in the BS31 area of Bristol is currently looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work through their KS1 & KS2 classrooms, supporting the teaching staff.

You will be joining an energetic, hardworking and supportive team, where you will be expected to provide a calm and nurturing learning environment.

The Role

This role is a part-time position, where the successful candidate will work as a class TA, supporting interventions but also covering teaching during PPA times.

Throughout the week, you will have a timetable following the KS1 and KS2 Class Teachers PPA Times. Covering these lessons, you will be required to have a reflective and versatile approach to teaching and learning.

You will be expected to:

• Be flexible and work throughout a number of classrooms

• Have experience supporting children with SEND

• Have good knowledge of the educational curriculum.

• Be creative, adaptable and supportive.

• Have high expectations of pupils through motivation, encouragement and confidence.
