Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Westminster

?? Location: Westminster?? Salary: £110 - £130 per day?? Job Type: Long-term, temporary? Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm?? Start Date: ASAP?? End Date: July 2025 (potential to extend into the new school year)?? Year Group: KS1 - KS2

Tradewind is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Westminster that is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with experience supporting KS1 & KS2 students and a passion for helping pupils progress.

We also encourage applications from experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are looking to step up into an HLTA role. A formal qualification is not required-relevant experience is key!

? Lead a class one day per week in KS1 and KS2? Deliver intervention sessions alongside class teachers? Develop engaging learning resources to enhance pupil progress? Work closely with the SENCo to support pupils with SEN and EAL needs? Help set targets and contribute to teacher assessment reports

? Previous experience as an HLTA or LSA? A proactive and adaptable approach? Knowledge of the primary curriculum? Strong teamworking skills? A Level 3 qualification is beneficial but not essential
