Horizontal Directional Drilling - East Coast HDD : Job Details

East Coast HDD is an underground directional drilling company based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. We specialise in trenchless techniques for the installation of conduits and pipelines beneath roads, rail, airport runways, rivers environmentally sensitive areas.

We are currently looking for Horizontal Directional Drilling Operaters

Overview the position:

Responsible for overseeing daily operations to ensure East Coast HDD maintain and improve established standards of safety, quality, environmental and production performance.

Obtain and develop personnel both on site.

Establish teams and manage professional progression of staff on an individual and team level.

Originate and lead human resources practices and objectives that will provide and employee orientated high performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

Responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organisation's business goals.

The successful applicant:

• Hold a relevant degree qualification or have extensive experience in a similar position
• Experience in operating and steering of drilling machines
• Strong computing skills
• Hold a valid driver licence
• Sound negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Strong understanding of OHS
