High-Standard Housekeeper/Cook or Domestic Couple Role in Jersey

A prestigious client in Jersey is seeking an exceptional Housekeeper/Cook or a Domestic Couple to join their household. This is a fabulous opportunity for a highly skilled professional who thrives in maintaining impeccable standards and can confidently prepare family meals.

The household consists of a Principal couple, pets, and a supportive team, including a head gardener and estate manager. Two part-time cleaners will assist with cleaning and ironing.

The role involves meticulous management of the home's daily cleaning, creating cleaning schedules, ensuring the upkeep of luxury surfaces, finishes, and valuable items. The Housekeeper will prepare fresh, light lunches and dinners for the Principals when they are in residence. During the Principals frequent travels, pet care responsibilities for the two dogs and two cats will be shared among the live-in staff.

Key Requirements:

• High standards of housekeeping with expertise in maintaining luxury finishes and delicate items.
• Confident cooking skills to prepare healthy, balanced meals for the Principals.
• Experience with wardrobe management, including packing and unpacking.
• Knowledge of managing household supplies and food stock.
• Must love animals and assist in caring for two dogs and two cats.
• A driving license is essential for this role.

The client is also open to hiring a couple. In this case, one partner would focus on housekeeping and cooking, while the other could take on a role such as groundskeeping.

Duties:

• Cleaning and organizing the property to the highest standards.
• Preparing lunch and dinner.
• Wardrobe management and care, including packing and unpacking.
• Managing household stock and supplies.
• Shared pet care responsibilities.

Schedule & Salary:

• Hours: Monday to Friday with flexibility as needed. A split shift when the Principals are in residence; regular hours otherwise.
• Salary:£40,000 -£45,000 GPA.
• Start Date: As soon as the ideal candidate(s) is found.
