Live out Rota Housekeeping Job in Holland Park, West London

A family of three living in West London is looking for a professional Housekeeper to join their fully staffed house. Hot lunch and dinner are provided when you are on shift. You will report to the House Manager. Flexibility and being a team player are key for this role. You will receive time off for two months over the summer and will have Christmas off, too. You are required to use your annual leave allowance within these periods. This is a formally run home.

The household has very high standards, and the client is seeking someone who has the good product knowledge, is well-organised, courteous, happy to work in a team, follows instructions well and is open to receiving training, if needed. You will also have prior experience working in a formal private household or a 5* boutique hotel environment.

Duties to include:

• Shared general housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry and ironing (mostly towels and bed linen), changing bed linen every other day, tidying up and additional duties as needed - all to a high standard
• Looking after a combination of furniture and furnishings and a mixture of high-end surfaces
• Set the table and serve meals
• Maintaining wardrobes to high standards
• Reporting directly to the House Manager

House: a large 5-storey home

Working days: rota based on a 5-day week, predominantly Monday to Friday and some occasional weekends

Working hours: approximately 42 hours per week, from 7 am - 3 pm, 11:30 am - 7:30 pm and some days from 11:30 am - 8:30 pm (mostly Thursdays and Fridays)

Salary: up to £40,000 (depending on experience)
