Live out Housekeeper Job in Mayfair, Central London

A UHNW couple living in their apartment in Mayfair is looking to hire a Housekeeper to help them out. They are based abroad but visit London regularly, as this is their second home—staying in London for at least six months of the year. They are looking for someone hardworking and flexible who is looking for a long-term role. The role requires flexibility because the clients often travel between their primary residences. There is an opportunity to grow within the role and the possibility of travelling abroad and setting up other homes.

They employ another full-time Housekeeper and travel with a Butler and Chef.

Duties when clients are abroad:

• General deep cleaning of all areas
• Wardrobe management
• Laundry and ironing (delicates and bed linen are sent out)
• Inventory
• Silver polishing
• Additional ad hoc duties are required depending on the needs of the clients

Duties when clients are in residence:

• Day-to-day cleaning of rooms and formal areas
• Cleaning of en-suites
• Flower arranging
• Wardrobe management
• Laundry and ironing (delicates and bed linen are sent out)
• Set up of dining table and service where required
• Food and drink service when the clients entertain guests
• Turn down service
• Assisting with other duties as requested by the clients

House: 5-bedroom apartment

Hours:

• When the clients are not in residence - Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
• When the clients are in residence - 5 days a week with days off usually given during the week. The shifts when the clients are in residence will be 10 hours, either 9-7 or 10-8.

They have larger scale parties 4-6 times a year and small canape dinners once a week when they are in residence. On days their guests are staying later you would be required to stay back as necessary. You will be provided with a taxi home if you finish after 10 pm.

Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 GPA
