This role sits within our Cleaning business division and our contract with the Caledonian Sleeper Trains that provides cleaning and house keeping services.

About The Role:Hours of work: 09:30-17:30, 5 days per week.As a Housekeeper on the Caledonian Sleeper Train, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. This role plays a crucial part in the overall maintenance and appearance of trains, contributing to a positive customer experience.Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train
• Changing bed linen and making the beds.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand to perform daily tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and materials.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous experience in housekeeping is desired
• You will have strong communication skills.

Additional information:

• You will need to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting in this role
