Housing Lead (FTC)£42,000-£45,000 per annum DOEMonday to FridayFixed Term Contract- Until March 2025Hybrid working available On behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds, we are searching for a Housing Lead to join a fun, friendly and welcoming team on a Fixed Term basis until March 2025. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the successful candidate will have an upbeat and dynamic personality, have previous experience of working within Housing Associations, have a good understanding of the social sector and associated regulations/policies as well as being able to create and implement. Due to the location of the role, a drivers licence and access to your own vehicle will be essential. Main duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Lead teams to deliver great performance outcomes which are resident focused
- Be the Key person to lead regulatory and policy requirements
- Oversee day-to-day operations and drive great performance results and high levels of tenant satisfaction.
- Take the lead when it comes to annual returns for the Regulator of Social Housing, Commissioners and others
- Develop positive relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience of working at within a social housing setting at senior management level
- High levels of knowledge in regard to social housing governance and regulations
- Have high levels of IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Business minded
- Experience of producing, understanding and presenting management information
- Love to problem solve
- Hold a relevant housing qualification (CIH Level 5 Diploma or Level 4 Certificate) and have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience (Desirable)
- Experience of working with and servicing boards and committees
- Have an upbeat and dynamic personality
