Housing Management Solicitor - James Andrew Recruitment Solutions (JAR Solutions) : Job Details

?We are currently partnering with a housing association with multiple offices nationwide, who are recruiting for a Housing Management Solicitor to join their growing team on an initial four month locumbasis.

This is a full time, fully remote position, offering an hourly rate of £40-£45/hour via an umbrella company (with scope to negotiate), with the role due to interview and start ASAP.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Acting as part of the Housing Management and Property Litigation team of qualified lawyers
• Providing expertise in the following areas: ASB, possession cases, debt recovery and breaches of tenancy
• Advising on First Tier Tribunal cases, trespass/Right of Way/breach of Easement claims and landlord/leaseholder breach of contract/lease terms
• Supporting and advising regional Lawyers so that they can better prepare and draft their own pleadings

Experience required:

• Experience working in social housing or a local authority
• Two years+ PQE

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Disrepair
• ASB
• Possession claims
• Debt recovery
• Breaches of tenancy

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
