Housing Options AdvisorNorthamptonI am recruiting for a local authority who is looking for Housing Options Advisors will be allocated new cases and deal with any Homeless on the day cases and then complete robust triages of circumstances, provide initial housing options advice and progress homeless application through the relevant Part VII duties and then make a final decision under s193 as to whether the Council owes the main housing duty.Person RequirementAn understanding and awareness of current challenges around housing and homelessness.A good understanding and knowledge of current housing/homeless legislation, the Code of Guidance, good practice, and case-law.An effective problem-solver with an organised and imaginative approach to work and the ability to manage difficult situations.
