HR Generalist Location: BirminghamHours: 38 hours per week, Monday to FridayReports to: HR Manager & Head of HRA leading organisation in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join their expanding team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional ready to contribute to a fast-paced and evolving business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee recruitment, including job descriptions, CV shortlisting, and onboarding.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations (disciplinaries, grievances, flexible working).
  • Support redundancy processes and ensure compliance with formal HR legislation.
  • Collaborate with managers to address HR queries and formal procedures.
  • Maintain HR records, assist payroll, and update company policies.
  • Create HR reports and handle advanced Excel tasks (V-lookups, formulas).
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a strong HR Advisor or similar role.
  • Hands-on exposure to employee relations cases and redundancy processes.
  • Familiarity with HR policies, formal procedures, and legislation.
  • Long service in similar roles, demonstrating commitment and drive.
  • Desire to progress in HR; CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Excel (V-lookups and formulas).
