HR Advisor

Our client a leading technology company base in Stoke on Trent is urgently looking for a HR Advisor. Will be working within a leading team, great environment, working on leading projects and learning new skills.

This role is on site, competitive salary, and exciting role.

Will be working on:-

  • Support all recruitment activities and play a crucial role in helping to attract and onboard top talent whilst ensuring recruitment processes are professional, smooth, timely and cost-effective
  • Provide general professional and commercial first line support, advice and guidance on the whole range of employment issues and employee relations
  • Together with HR Admin Support, assist with all people activities and comms within HR remit (eg Newsletter, Teambuilding, Surveys, Internships, Apprentice schemes, Charity Team)
  • Assess and review HR processes and policies in line with best practice and changes in legislation
  • Enhance competencies by designing and/or delivering fit-for-purpose training material / solutions
  • Maintain accurate records as well as prepare various analyses, statistics, KPIs, annual reviews and reports as required
  • Assist with projects, payroll and/or benefit preparations as required
  • Represent the HR Dept and business professionally and positively in all settings including email, calls, online and face to face (interviews, meetings and events)
  • Any other tasks deemed necessary to support business needs / cover for sick or absent colleagues Key Measurements:
  • Number of vacancies, hiring costs, time to fill, candidate database, Employee turnover • Good knowledge of the business & job roles as well as staying up to date with laws & trends •

Key Skills:-

  • Prior experience of recruitment within a HR role/team (including liaising with agencies, using recruiting platforms and social networks) and good knowledge of hiring practices and stages
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving and office software skills (Sharepoint an advantage) •
  • Great attention to detail with ability to work well independently as well as in a team • Flexible with excellent interpersonal, written and analytical skills •
  • Confident, creative, curious, friendly and approachable with a pro-active attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • CIPD qualified or relevant experience, with working knowledge of UK employment law

Salary : 26000 - 28000
