Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about making a difference in the retail industry? Our client, a leading retail company, is seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join their team on a 6 month basis. As the HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR function and ensuring the smooth operation of their people processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees in all HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policies and procedures.
- Support the recruitment and selection process by partnering with hiring managers to identify talent needs, interview candidates, and make informed hiring decisions.
- Assist with the implementation and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct investigations into employee grievances and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and deliver training programmes that enhance employee performance and professional development.
- Proactively identify and address employee engagement and retention issues, implementing initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Manage employee benefits programmes and ensure accurate and timely administration.
- Maintain HR metrics and produce reports to monitor key HR indicators.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practises to enhance the HR function and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Fluent German required (as well as English)
- Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
- Strong understanding of HR best practises and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adept at building and maintaining relationships at all levels of the organisation.
