Our client, an established, growing and acquisitive private equity backed business, is seeking to appoint a driven and talented HR Advisor who can support the HR Manager and develop their career and grow with the business.
As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role within the business, acting as a key point of contact for employees and management by providing a comprehensive generalist HR service, helping to achieve and maintain an aligned and enthusiastic team culture where people can excel and have pride in their accomplishments.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide advice and guidance to employees, team leaders and managers on a wide range of HR issues.
- Provide coaching and education, supporting business areas on HR related matters, building relationships with employees and key stakeholders.
- Be the escalation point for queries the HR Administrator is unable to deal with, and in turn escalate more complex issues to the HR Director.
- Drive the Group recruitment process, adhering to the relevant legislation and providing a first-class experience for all candidates.
- Ensure recruitment, selection, induction and probation requirements are adhered to by tracking and supporting recruitment, new starters and on-boarding requirements.
- Assist in formal meetings, such as employee disciplinaries and grievances as required.
- Supporting with the creation and delivery of HR development training modules.
- Support on key projects and achieving the HR strategy, specifically in relation to learning and development, engagement and retention.
- Supporting the HR Director with the implementation of key HR metrics, analyse and review to identify patterns trends and action plan opportunities to drive improvement and performance.
- Ensure the HR System accurately reflects current staff conditions and details.
- Provide appropriate reports from the HR System for the purpose of auditing and monitoring employee data and training.
- Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, performance and development initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and HR system implementations.
Candidate Profile:
- CIPD qualification (or working towards one) is highly desirable but not essential
- Good team player, flexible and able to work on own initiative
- Empathetic and consistently demonstrates high integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to establish effective working relationships at all levels
- Appreciates the importance of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and good work ethic
- Ability to work with competing deadlines and priorities
- Resilient and not derailed by a setback
- Comfortable and competent with MS Office
