The HR Advisor will report directly to the HR Manager . In this role you will be responsible for the following;
- Provide advice and guidance on a range of employment queries and casework, ensuring statutory compliance and presenting options and recommendations.
- Coach managers to improve their competence and confidence in managing people-related cases, ensuring cases are resolved within agreed timescales.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues to produce and monitor casework metrics and key performance indicators, providing reports as required.
- Maintain accurate records and minutes of formal meetings.
- Offer proactive advice to management on employee relations, performance management, and recruitment support.
- Continually develop knowledge and skills in HR best practices, market trends, and employment legislation.
You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Proven track record of developing people initiatives and advising line managers.
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Trusted advisor with experience in advising managers on HR/people matters.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Word and Excel.

At MaPS, we take pride in our flexible approach to work. As standard, we work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, noncontractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered.
