We are recruiting on behalf of a leading FMCG company based in Leeds, currently experiencing an exciting phase of expansion with a recent £50m investment. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Advisor to join their team. Key Responsibilities of a HR Advisor:
- Oversee and manage the full employee relations (ER) lifecycle, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
- Lead recruitment initiatives, from liaising with hiring managers to onboarding new talent.
- Take an active role in continuous improvement (CI) projects related to HR, helping to drive efficiencies and enhance employee experience.
- Provide expert advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the business in managing change as part of the company’s growth, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Proactively identify HR issues and offer solutions, while also being ready to react quickly to unexpected challenges.
Key Requirements of a HR Advisor:
- Proven experience as a HR Advisor or HR Generalist, ideally within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of ER processes and UK employment law.
- Ability to manage recruitment processes from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Experience with HR-related continuous improvement projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a hands-on approach.
