Our client is looking for an experienced People Advisor to join their friendly team, a company with real purpose. The ideal candidate will have strong generalist HR experience with sound experience in employee relations and will thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This is an excellent opportunity to truly make a difference in an organisation with exciting growth plans.This is a full-time (35 hours) office based role at their stunning central support location in Liphook where alongside the existing team of friendly HR colleagues, you will find a hive of activity alongside other focused and dedicated support teams in the office, supporting our incredible, growing team of teaching staff across the UK. It's fun and rewarding to work here and definitely worth leaving the house for! It is worth mentioning that there is flexibility in working office hours. If you need to do the school run, that is no problem at all!The role

Be the first point of contact for managers for general people queries and advice across the entire employee lifecycleSupport managers and be the HR lead on routine and complex employee relations matters including disciplinary and grievance meetings, sickness, occupational health referrals and performance managementBuild relationships with managers at all levels and develop a good understanding of the business to help identify issues and trendsSupport with the development and review of existing and new policies in line with legislation, best practice and business objectivesSupport with reporting and analysis of key people metrics e.g. staff attrition, sicknessAssist with the preparation and delivery of training sessions to managers and staff where requiredSupport the People Administrator with administration activities such as processing changes to employment contracts, flexible working requests, family friendly leave etcAssist with recruitment and on-boarding activitiesSupport the People Team with wider initiatives and projectsWhat you'll need to succeedPrevious demonstratable experience working in a Generalist HR role.A minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualification would be preferableExperience of advising and managing HR casework (including complex cases) across a range of topics including employee relations and proven expertise in key processes throughout the employment lifecyclePrevious knowledge and experience of using HR systems and producing key HR metrics would be preferredHighly organised and comfortable prioritising own workload in a busy environment to achieve key goalsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trusted working relationships with a range of stakeholders at all levelsA strong growth mindset with resilience and creativityExcellent administration and MS office skillsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsWhat you'll get in return35 hours working week25 days holiday, plus all UK bank holidaysAnnual staff bonusTo work in a beautiful office with vast groundsFree, onsite parkingPersonal development opportunitiesBenefits package, including discounts on many everyday purchases, free 24/7 GP and Employee Assistance service and moreGreat culture - through annual staff away-day, Christmas party and opportunities to socialise with other like-minded and passionate individuals throughout the yearOpportunities to get involved free workshops for charities and support groupsWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
