Reed HR are pleased to be partnering with an innovative organisation in Kidlington, North Oxfordshire who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Advisor to provide best practice, efficient, and responsive HR support across all aspects of Human Resources within their organisation, supporting the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with managers, providing constructive advice and support on employee performance management and development matters.
- Work with managers to facilitate positive employee relations, maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- Act as a knowledgeable advisor on day-to-day generalist HR issues.
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge of employment law, developing and maintaining relevant policies and processes.
- Draft policies and support the implementation of new legislation.
- Manage the monthly payroll process.
- Oversee the right to work and immigration process for onboarding employees.
- Support in analysing engagement survey results and preparing reports.
- Assist in recruitment efforts to attract and retain exceptional talent, guiding managers through recruitment best practice.
- Managing the offer process with successful candidates and oversee the creation of employment contracts.
- Support the induction process for new hires, ensuring effective onboarding and continuous feedback.
- Maintain the HRIS system accurately, ensuring all data is up to date and compliant
- Maintain employee benefits and conduct audits on employee data.
- Providing any other ad hoc support as required.
To be considered for this position, you will have the following experience, skills and qualifications:
- Strong generalist HR experience at HR Advisor level, experience of coaching and guiding managers with employee relations matters such as absence and performance management.
- CIPD level 5 qualified.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
