Location: Milton Keynes
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Temporary
Salary: £21 to £23 p/h
Are you an experienced HR professional looking for a leadership role. Our client is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to lead and develop our HR function across three sites, supporting up to 200 dedicated staff members.
HR Advisor Role:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee and direct all HR services, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
- Employee Relations: Provide expert advice on HR policies, supporting managers on disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and staff well-being.
- Recruitment & Retention: Lead safer recruitment processes, onboarding, and talent management strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure HR policies align with statutory guidance, oversee DBS checks, and support Ofsted inspections.
- Professional Development: Drive staff training, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
- HR Systems & Reporting: Manage HR information systems, workforce planning, and reporting to senior leadership and governance boards.
HR Advisor Qualifications and Experience
- CIPD-qualified HR professional with strong HR generalist experience.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, using initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the education sector or public sector HR (desirable).
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
