Interim HR Advisor

Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic company who are seeking an HR Advisor to provide high-quality HR advice and support to managers and staff. This role is crucial in enabling managers to build an inclusive, attractive, effective, and safe culture, engage their staff, and effectively manage absence, performance, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Provide high-quality HR advice to managers and operational management teams that drives the achievement of organisational strategy, objectives, culture, and values.
- Understand the key people issues for the business group/business unit and attend operational management meetings, providing specialist HR advice.
- Provide regular reporting to operational leaders and management teams on people performance, using data and insights to identify trends, issues, and risks.
- Advise and support managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence issues, supporting managers to resolve issues informally at an early stage wherever possible.
- Advise managers and staff on the interpretation and application of terms and conditions of service and contractual issues.
- Build effective relationships with local trade union/staff side representatives and participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- CIPD qualified or working towards it.
- Graduate degree in human resources, business studies, or related discipline, or equivalent level of experience.
- Significant HR operational experience at an HR advisory level, providing advice on HR issues across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience of providing HR advice on complex and sensitive issues to managers.
- Experience of providing advice on and supporting organisational change processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including communication and relationship management.
- Ability to travel between sites for work purposes.
