Job Description :

People Advisor opportunity available to start immediately on a fixed term contract basis until the end of January 2026 initially working for a leading organisation based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. As People Advisor you will be an integral part of the HR team and responsible for delivering an adaptive, timely and compliant advice, administration and query resolution service across the full employee lifecycle.

Duties include:

  • Supports local line managers and team leaders with day to day HR activities
  • Resolves all queries with a solution-oriented approach
  • Attends formal meetings and hearings, ensure accurate minutes are taken and disseminated to relevant stakeholders
  • Responsible for absence management, disciplinary and grievance, redundancy procedures up to dismissal and tribunal stage
  • Support with organisational development projects
  • Support with job evaluations

Qualifications and Experience

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified minimum or working towards (desirable)
  • Employee relations experience including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management and sickness absence management
  • Previous demonstrable experience at people advisor level
  • Successful track record in contributing to people casework, including disciplinary and grievance cases
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Understanding of organisational change principles

This role is available full time working Monday-Friday 36.25 hours per week and offers flexibility on start and finish times.
