H9 Human Resources is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-respected leader in the professional services industry. We are currently looking for a skilled HR Advisor to join their dynamic HR team on a fixed-term contract, expected to last until January 2026. This role is based in Liverpool, with occasional travel to other UK offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive HR support to employees and line managers across a variety of HR issues.
- Offer guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations matters.
- Manage a variety of employee relations cases, including performance, absence, disciplinary, grievance, restructuring, redundancy, and contract termination.
- Make Occupational Health referrals and support managers in implementing reasonable adjustments.
- Support with policy reviews and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.
- Assist with the preparation of formal HR paperwork and reports.
- Participate in HR-related projects, including diversity and inclusion, recruitment, and reward strategies.
- Collate and manage payroll information for monthly processing.
- Oversee HR records management in the central HR system.
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in a generalist HR or operational HR role, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations cases in line with company policy and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong judgement and problem-solving capabilities, with an ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism.
- Experience working with HR systems and tools.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred, but not essential.
- A flexible, adaptable approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of standard office hours as needed.
Hours of Work:
- Flexible working options available, with 3, 4, or 5 days per week considered.
- Working hours will be 9am-5pm.
