Job Description :

My Client based in Chelmsford is seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their Chelmsford site’s leadership team. This role is critical in driving and supporting our business transformation, ensuring the delivery of a people agenda that aligns with our Business Plan and Company objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to both strategic and operational aspects of HR.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Partner with Senior Leaders and their teams to provide consultative advice and deliver value-add interventions in all areas of People.
  • Lead the design and delivery of a people strategy that supports the achievement of the Business Plan and Company objectives.
  • Drive and reinforce culture and behaviours, equipping line managers with the necessary HR skills.
  • Deliver HR-related projects, including organisational restructures, change management activities, initiatives, and transitions.
  • Identify opportunities for change and influence Leadership teams to enable and empower change.
  • Mentor other members of the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous development and training.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on operational HR responsibilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a consultative HR role, advising management on all aspects of employee matters.
  • Expertise in communicating with all levels of employees and management.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive leadership decisions through analytical guided advice.
  • Experience in delivering HR projects and managing multifaceted projects.
  • High level of business acumen with the ability to adjust advice based on evolving business goals.
  • Resilience and capability to manage personal change as well as supporting teams and the broader organisation.
  • Proactive self-starter with a consultative approach.
  • CIPD qualification.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in an international environment with professional and cultural sensitivities.
  • Background in a technical Engineering & Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with successful HRIS implementation and HR transformation.
