Job Purpose:

As the HR Business Partner, you will be the driving force behind the successful implementation of human resources strategies within the directorate. Working closely with the Strategic Director, you will provide expert advice on complex workforce issues and contribute to decision-making processes that shape the future of the organisation. ??

?? Key Responsibilities:

Partner with senior leaders to align HR practises with business goals and drive constructive change.

Develop and enhance HR practises and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with the directorate's needs.

Use data-driven insights to support organisational development and talent management initiatives. ??

Lead and guide large-scale organisational change projects, ensuring effective workforce transformation.

Shape HR policy and approaches that harmonise with the organisation's unique needs.

Collaborate with specialists to deliver tailored projects and interventions. ??

Build and maintain positive relationships with trade unions, fostering a productive working environment.

Ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practises, protecting the organisation's interests. ??

Coach and develop leaders and managers, empowering them to build engaged and high-performing teams. �?

Embrace continuous self-development and actively contribute to service improvement initiatives.

Champion diversity and equality, creating an inclusive environment for all employees. �?

?? Technical Requirements:

Proven track record of delivering tangible outcomes that drive organisational success and employee satisfaction.

Expertise in a wide range of HR and OD activities, from recruitment to performance management.

Strong knowledge of employment legislation and risk mitigation strategies.

Familiarity with the national policy context for local government.
