Reed HR are currently seeking an HR Business Partner for an exciting interim project with a well-established client based in Croydon.This interim contract requires a professional with proven experience in managing complex Employee Relations cases. Our client needs someone who is a self-starter with a pragmatic approach, capable of resolving problems efficiently and swiftly.Due to the urgency of this role, we are only considering candidates who are immediately available to start.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as a key HR point of contact for all employee relations issues, providing expert advice and guidance to managers and staff.
- Lead and manage restructuring projects, ensuring they are executed smoothly and in compliance with legal standards.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support the organisation’s goals and comply with legal requirements.
- Work closely with management to address and resolve complex employee relations issues, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, and grievances.
- Assist in the development and delivery of bespoke training sessions related to HR practices, employee relations, and legal compliance.
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning.
- Conduct regular reviews of HR practices and policies to ensure they are effective and recommend improvements where necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and restructuring.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Experience in managing and leading change within an organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CIPD qualification is highly desirable.
