Description

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted adviser to the organisation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, strategic, and operational HR support. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR policies, organisational design, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives.

This is a high-profile role with the opportunity to influence key decisions and support the organisations strategic ambitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver strategic and operational HR plans.
  • Partner with senior leaders to drive employee engagement and embed a positive organisational culture.
  • Provide expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, using HR metrics to identify and address issues.
  • Lead and support complex change initiatives, working closely with trade unions, managers, and staff.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion through local and central EDI action plans.
  • Support and coach senior managers on key people management challenges.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives, policies, and strategic projects.

Profile

  • Level 7 CIPD.
  • Strong HR technical expertise, including knowledge of UK employment law, organisational change, and talent management.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leaders in a large, complex organisation.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.

Desirable:

  • Experience in Higher Education or similar sectors.
  • Familiarity with job evaluation methods.
  • Project management qualifications.
  • Knowledge of HR systems.
