About the role:

In this role you’ll support the Power Station operational teams by providing professional HR advice, support and guidance and being the HR subject matter expert for your plant area. These business units have a population that have recognised collective bargaining rights so prior experience in collective bargaining contracts would be beneficial.

You’ll work closely with the business unit extended leadership team to challenge, support and coach them in the delivery of the business plan through their people. You’ll engage with them to assist in the formulation of key people initiatives, adding value through in-depth HR insight and knowledge.

You’ll interface other internal colleagues in relation to employee issues and build mid term HR plans aligned with Group HR and business unit strategy to ensure that these are planned and resourced appropriately.

You’ll lead on HR transformational change projects as needed, ensuring they are delivered in line with budget and align to the Company values and expectations.

Who we’re looking for:

Ideally you’ll be MCIPD qualified or qualified by experience, and have excellent working knowledge of HR practices and current employee legislation in a similar operations environment.

You’ll need to be effective in managing your stakeholders to ensure successful relationships are built  and maintained with the plant area as well as with internal colleagues.
