This newly created role will work as part of a busy HR team, providing you the opportunity to gain a vast amount of HR generalist experience. The role will initially be site based 5 days a week. The role:
- Act as first point of contact for colleague queries
- Work with the Head of HR to implement and drive employee engagement initiatives
- Roll out employee communications and support in organising the colleague forum
- Support colleagues in wellbeing initiatives and any occupational health referrals
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Provide support and note taking for ER issues / meetings.
The person:
- CIPD level 3 or working towards CIPD Level 5
- Previous experience of working within an HR / People function
- Knowledge of UK Employment law and its applications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, comfortable working with Excel to generate daily reports
- You will be able to operate within a fast paced environment, be confident in communicating effectively with all levels of staff and management
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and be confident in your decision making.
