HR Consultant - Local Authority - Spencer Clarke Group : Job Details

My client in Greater London are looking to appoint a talented HR Consultant on a Contract basis.

My Client are looking for an experienced HR consultant, with excellent ER experience and knowledge as this role involves a lot of employee relations case work supporting senior leaders in school, with sickness absence, restructures, TUPE, disciplinaries and grievances.

What's on offer:

• Salary: £250+ day rate, inside IR35

*negotiable based on experience

• Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:00

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

• To ensure the Councils and their traded partners' treatment of employees is consistent with their values and strategic objectives
• To support schools and traded partners in collaboration with the Resourcing and Talent Acquisition Team to deliver a best practice recruitment service.
• To provide, advice and guidance to Managers on all HR issues including around; the interpretation and implementation of complex HR issues identifying rights and responsibilities.

• You will be required to work collaboratively across the whole HR function to deliver HR-wide strategic projects.

About you:You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience in a similar role.
• Experience of line managing a member of staff (successful candidate will be responsible for line managing 1 ER Officer).
• Experience of working with trade unions.
• Local Authority experience is essential
