Job Description :

Reed HR are working with a Professional Services Business to recruit a Temporary HR Coordinator for approximately 4 weeks. This role will manage the People and Careers inbox, handle day-to-day enquiries, and support various HR projects. This temporary position is ideal for someone with experience in the SME, creative, or professional services sectors, who can efficiently handle multiple tasks and maintain high standards in HR practices.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Monitor and manage the People and Careers inbox, responding to enquiries promptly.
  • Conduct probation reviews, including chasers and check-ins with managers on progress.
  • Maintain the Teams data sheet, ensuring all profiles are updated and uploaded to the intranet or SharePoint.
  • Ensure pay review and bonus letters are filed correctly in individual files.
  • Keep the HR system up-to-date with all relevant data.
  • Manage and file career forms, following up on their status as necessary.
  • Oversee the filing and closure of the recent graduate recruitment programme.
  • Distribute values awards nominations via email following the awards event.
  • Manage leave reporting, identifying any excessive leave remaining and coordinating with relevant managers.
  • Update the ‘new starters forms’ PDF to reflect new branding and enhance usability.

Project pieces:

  • Assist in the review of policies to ensure they are culturally aligned, legally compliant, and maintain the appropriate tone of voice.
  • Analyse employee exit data to identify trends and create a new online form and turnover workbook.
  • Review suggestions for recruitment processes and plan their implementation for the next year.
  • Develop a centralised wellbeing calendar that captures ED&I and mental health work programmes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HR coordination, preferably within the SME, creative, or professional services sectors.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience in handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
