The Role

As HR Manager, you will take the lead in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, supporting the leadership team and employees. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering HR solutions aligned with the business objectives while ensuring compliance and promoting best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes.
  • Manage employee relations, providing guidance and resolution for complex issues.
  • Lead initiatives in training, development, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver HR policies and procedures tailored to a manufacturing setting.
  • Support change management projects and organizational development initiatives.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.

About You

We’re seeking an HR professional with a proactive mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of a manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within manufacturing or a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing change and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • CIPD Level 5 or higher (or equivalent experience).

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with HR systems and data analytics.
  • Experience in a unionized environment.
