HR Manager, Essex
One to One Personnel are pleased to be working with a Global Manufacturing organisation looking to recruit a generalist HR Manager with experience gained within a Manufacturing/ Production / Engineering environment
The role
The HR Manager’s role is to helps the business to run smoothly by ensuring all company processes are compliant with employment regulations and that all personnel act in line with company policies.
A large part of the job involves supporting Managers with all aspects of HR, as well as ensuring the company attracts the best candidates for open vacancies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate HR advice and coach managers with HR processes
- Management of the resourcing and recruitment lifecycle including succession planning
- Advising payroll bureaus of weekly and monthly payroll changes
- Review and approve the weekly and monthly payrolls
- Manage the onboarding and leavers process
- Lead and support managers with the performance review process
- Ensure company procedures comply with employment regulations
- Monitoring various aspects of an employee’s performance, such as attendance and sick leave
- Oversee learning and development activities, developing a high-performance culture
- Lead and support in complex employee relation activities
- Manage the reviewing of pay structures and employee benefits
- Supporting change management across the business as it continues to grow
- Work with the CEO and Senior Management team with regards to the implementation of any company Initiatives
- Perform other related tasks as requested
Skills and competencies
- Professional qualification in Human Resources is desirable
- Previous experience within a HR Generalist role
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideas
- Strong leadership skills
- A solid understanding of the key principles of employment law
- Solid ethics and morals and sound judgement
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent IT skills with Microsoft Office
Skills and competencies preferable:
- Knowledge of EU employment law
The Package:
Salary: £47,250 (gross) per year
Car allowance: £380 (gross) per month
Hours: 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday
On site working in Wickford, Essex
