HR Manager (24 hours per week / 3 or 4 days per week)

£45,000 per annum (pro rata)

We are an established, dynamic and vibrant Graphic Production Company based in Watford. We specialise in providing innovative, tailored solutions for well known companies within Film & TV, Retail and Exhibitions.

We are seeking to recruit an HR Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for end-to-end Human Resources support within the organisation including recruitment, new hire onboarding, performance management and employee issues, while working to ensure the culture, benefits and renumeration make the organisation a great place to build a long term career.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing both operational and strategic leadership across the organisation on HR matters. You will provide expert, professional advice and guidance to the team, implement an effective appraisal process and ensure HR policies and procedures are robust and well communicated.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing effective HR strategies that are aligned with the Company’s objectives - ensuring HR initiatives support the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee end to end HR processes - working as a point of contact for the team on everything HR / people related.
  • Manage employee relations: address conflicts and conduct thorough investigations when necessary, ensuring a fair and consistent process.
  • Implement and manage an effective employee appraisal process.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure HR administration is kept updated.
  • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, provide new ideas and innovative solutions to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experienced working in HR management - ideally a minimum of 3 years
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport, inspire and promote strong working relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing HR challenges, listening to employees and effectively resolving people issues.
  • Ability to work closely as a trusted advisor to the MD and Senior Leadership team.
