Reed HR are proud to be supporting a manufacturing organisation based in Tredegar, as the HR manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive work environment. This standalone role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and HR policy implementation
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with legal and industry standards.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from job advertising to interviewing, ensuring a smooth onboarding for new hires.
- Oversee employee relations, including handling workplace disputes and disciplinary procedures.
- Coordinate professional development programs and identify training needs to promote employee growth.
- Administer payroll processes and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs.
- Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring accurate employee records and generating key HR metrics reports.
- Promote a positive company culture by organizing team-building events and driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficient in HR tools and systems, with excellent skills in Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with business goals.
