Reed HR are seeking a keen and energetic HR Officer to join our clients HR team of four in Epsom!
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a year of HR experience who is looking to further their professional development by studying for a CIPD Level 3 qualification, which will be funded by the company.
The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Manager.
Hours: 9 - 5 Monday to FridayOffice based
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist with various HR tasks and support the HR Manager in daily activities.
- Help manage employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness.
- Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
- Implement the HR strategy and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Approximately 1 year of experience in an HR role.
- Keen to start studying for a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
- Energetic and proactive approach to work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software.
- Remarkable organisational and conflict management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
