Description

  • Oversee the human resources department and its daily operations
  • Ensure the organisation's HR policies align with current legislation
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding
  • Handle performance management procedures
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisation's objectives
  • Manage employee benefits programmes
  • Report on HR metrics to inform management decisions

Profile

A successful HR Officer should have:

  • Proven experience in a similar HR role within the public sector
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Understanding of UK labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field
