HR Officer - Term time hours - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

CMA HR Division are assisting a Public Services organisation in Portsmouth to recruit a HR Officer for a 12 month fixed term contract, based on term time working.

This is a varied role which will be reporting to the HR Manager and be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the HR team.

What will the HR Officer role involve?

• Providing oversight and supervision of all HR functions.
• Ensuring that mandatory training is undertaken.
• Assisting with payroll, checking sickness, absences, issuing starts and leavers.
• Note taking in HR meetings.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and process HR documentation.

Suitable Candidate for HR Officer vacancy:

• Highly organised and able to prioritise workload.
• Experience working within a HR team/generalist role.
• Able to commence employment at short notice, although candidates on a month's notice will also be considered.

• Working hours, 08.00 – 16.00 Mon-Thurs and 08.00 – 15.30 Fridays,  with ½ hour unpaid lunch each day.
