Your new roleI am excited to be partnering with Norwich University of the Arts in their search for an HR Partner.They are one of the Great British art schools: a specialist creative arts university with an award-winning campus that draws on 175 years of history. You'll be joining a forward-thinking People Team with ambitious plans! You'll support the implementation of their People Strategy and be the HR lead for policy development as well as the delivery of the University's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) agenda. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in interesting change projects, organisational development, and performance management. The HR Partner will explore new legislative developments, trends, and emerging industry best practice and build strong relationships with university colleagues to champion the University's position as a leading creative arts education employer in the UK.What you'll need to succeedYou'll be a true HR generalist with excellent employment law knowledge gained in complex organisations. Proven policy development experience is essential, including shaping policies from scratch. As well as experience of leading evidence-based ED&I projects.Joining a growing People Team, being a self-starter, solutions-driven, and curious is critical. You'll be confident in your own decisions and enjoy being part of a small team with big ideas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as is the ability to manipulate and analyse data, and to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Candidates will also be degree-educated and professionally qualified with a relevant Level 7 post-graduate qualification or evidence of competency at a similar level.
