Job Location : East London, UK
As People Partner, you will be responsible for providing generalist people support to your assigned business area, working with a wide range of stakeholders and supporting with the delivery of the People Plan, alongside our HR Manager and Lead HR Manager. This role will work collaboratively with the wider HR Team to ensure we deliver 'best in class' operational excellence in our People processes and practices. As a trusted partner, this role is crucial to the evolution and elevation of our employee experience, unearthing opportunities and driving improvements across all lifecycle stages.
* Partner with a wide range of stakeholders to support in the delivery of our People Plan and advising on a range of ER issues, including absence management, disciplinary, grievances, restructures and organisational design.
* Be in the detail of your business area, providing regular reporting and keeping a continuous pulse on all people activities. This would include; leaver trends, recruitment activity, people development, ER issues, department objectives and current challenges.
* Review our policy library regularly, ensuring our policies and processes are fit for purpose and right for KAD and stay ahead of our legal responsibilities surrounding GDPR compliance.
* Contribute to and lead key projects to support our People Plan, with the aim of continuously improve the experience of working at KAD.
* Coaching our People leaders and working with our Talent and Engagement Manager and CT&E team to create, deliver and evaluate training materials and tools to enable the success of our People leaders.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices.
* Support the annual job fair and career event programme for local education settings and local authority groups.
Essential
* Foundation level degree in human resources (CIPD Level 5 or equivalent), with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent relevant experience in place of qualification.
* Experience in Business Partnering.
* Strong employee relations experience and UK employment legislation knowledge.
* Experience applying HR policies and procedures with exceptional stakeholder management.
* Strong organisation skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
* A curious and credible nature with an eye for detail.
* Confident, adaptable, and proactive in your approach.
* Ability to work at pace, a real 'doer' with the energy and drive to make an impact.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* Strong IT skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
