ASQ International is working with an amazing International Montessori School in Portugal who is seeking to appoint a Secondary Humanities Guide, to join their committed, talented and supportive team!

The school

This International Montessori School follows the Cambridge Curriculum and makes sure that learners at their school are active and happy. This world-class Montessori school has staff from all over the world who support each student to reach his/her full potential. The successful candidate will be working with teenagers in particular. The school is seeking a candidate who will be happy to work in a vivacious faith environment, and who will be fully involved in an active outdoor environment on their farm.

The ideal candidate

• Bachelor of Education Degree in specialism subject
• Experience teaching History and Geography
• The ability to work as part of a team is essential, to integrate across the whole school.
• Montessori certification and experience is preferable but not a prerequisite
• Dynamic personality with strong communication skills
• Experience with the British curriculum
• Able to build a positive classroom community focused on collaboration
