Humanities Teacher - Tradewind Recruitment : Job Details

Calling all Humanities specialists!

Are you a dedicated Humanities Teacher looking to bring your skills to new classrooms in Tonbridge? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a well-qualified (Qualified Teacher Status or alternative, equivalent qualification such as QTLS) Humanities Teacher to teach in Tonbridge.

Our client school has been graded Good by OFSTED and requires a Humanities Teacher to cover a long term contract until the end of the academic year.

The successful candidate will mainly be covering History, although there may be some Geography cover required too.

The role is full time and would be paid on the MPS/UPS scale. The ability to teach to KS5 is desirable, although not necessary, and applications from ECTs are welcomed.

Role & Requirements - Humanities Teacher:

• Full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an alternative, equivalent qualification (e.g. QTLS)

• The ability to comfortably teach to at least KS4 level (KS5 desirable but not necessary)

• Strong and effective behaviour management in line with school policies to ensure continued student success

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students alike
