An Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school located in Shenfield is seeking a committed Humanities Teacher to join our academic team. This is a full-time, long-term supply role with the possibility of permanent employment. We are looking for an inspiring Humanities Teacher to teach across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop a deep understanding of the humanities subjects. Candidates shortlisted must have QTS or significant experience teaching the UK curriculum-this requirement is essential and non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and informative humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the UK curriculum.
- Inspire and support students in their understanding of history, geography, and social studies topics.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the humanities department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports a range of abilities, fostering curiosity and critical thinking among students in Shenfield.

Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has proven experience teaching the UK curriculum (essential).
