The Role:

My mainstream secondary school client based in the City of Oxford is actively seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Humanities Teacher of either a History or Geography specialism to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time permanent basis. To be successful, you will need excellent organizational skills and passion to plan and mark humanities lessons across key stages 3 to 5. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers to join an established and highly regarded school as well as a chance for ECTs to capitalize on the school’s ECT programme.

This school offers a welcoming and supportive Humanities department that places staff development at the core of their culture and they are always excited to welcome new additions to the team. With both History and Geography popular choices at GCSE and A-level you will have the opportunity to guide and support an ambitious group of students. This position pays a salary across the main and upper pay scales depending on the successful English Teacher’s experience £31,650 - £49,084 per annum.
