The Role:

As a Humanities Teacher at Teenage Kicks, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
  • Encourage critical thinking, debate, and enquiry-based learning, helping students connect with real-world issues.
  • Differentiate lessons to support students with SEND, EHCPs, or behavioural challenges, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
  • Foster a love of learning through interactive, creative, and thought-provoking teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, supporting students' personal and social development.

Who We’re Looking For:

?Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.?Experience teaching History, Geography, or Religious Studies at Key Stages 3 & 4 (experience in alternative provision is an advantage).?Ability to differentiate lessons and engage students with diverse learning needs.?Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.?A flexible and adaptable approach, with a focus on student well-being and academic progress.?A passion for humanities and the ability to inspire curiosity and engagement in students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £33,500.00-£38,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
